We are seeking a talented and passionate Ruby on Rails Developer to join our dynamic team. As a key contributor, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining innovative web applications using the Ruby programming language and the Ruby on Rails framework. Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain robust web applications using Ruby on Rails, adhering to best practices and coding standards. Design and implement efficient and scalable database structures, leveraging technologies such as PostgreSQL or MySQL. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, UX/UI designers, and QA engineers, to deliver high-quality software solutions. Write and execute unit tests and integration tests to ensure the reliability and functionality of applications. Troubleshoot and debug issues, implementing effective solutions promptly. Stay updated on the latest developments in Ruby on Rails and related technologies, continuously improving skills and adopting industry best practices.

Skills:

Proficient in Ruby programming with a strong understanding of Ruby on Rails framework. Solid knowledge of web development principles, including RESTful architecture and MVC design patterns. Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Database management skills, including relational databases, SQL, and ORM frameworks like ActiveRecord. Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git. Expertise in testing frameworks, with a preference for experience with RSpec. Understanding of deployment processes and hosting platforms, such as Heroku or AWS. API development experience, including building and consuming APIs. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in web application development, with a focus on Ruby on Rails. A strong portfolio showcasing previous projects and contributions to open-source initiatives is highly advantageous. Relevant certifications in Ruby on Rails or web development are a plus. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive and positive attitude.
